Greetings everyone, my name is Breanne, today is exciting for me because not only is this my first blog, but my first and second photo shoot. I am Jennifer's sister and have started dabbling in photography on the side, which has been a lot of fun.
My first clients were near and dear friends of mine, Eden and Tony. They thought they had some more time to take photos, but with Colbie literally running out of "womb", she had to come early. They asked if I would take their maternity pictures quickly as they didn't know how much time they had left, and I obliged without hesitation. It was a fun session, with having to do a few outfit changes down gravel roads. Not to mention the mosquitos were horrible. The first picture we took was down a road with giant trees that hung over a lightly travelled road. I was so pumped, I figured it would be the money shot. We got out and could barely stand without swatting hundreds of mosquitos away. We lined up for the first shot and Tony's back was covered with them. We ran back to the car and were forced to find roads with less trees. This turned out to be just fine as I am in love with the pictures that were captured, but oofda, that would have been an amazing spot. We traveled around country side trying to find some picture perfect spots, and that's exactly what we found. It helped that my models were photogenic.
I thought my part was over, I handed over the pictures to my sister, Jennifer, and was waiting for the editing to be done. My sister is good friends with this couple as well, so she was going to do the infant session for them. Jennifer was near the end of her pregnancy and was not feeling well, so I stepped in and took Colbie's baby photos as well. It all worked out perfectly, I took the pictures, Jennifer was able to edit them all. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I did taking them. Thank you Eden and Tony, for letting me be part of these memories!
